Suat Cheng Lee 2 years ago I simply love the tour conducted by Southern Cross 4WD drive! Our tour guide Ross is very experienced and knowledgeable. He knows everyone by their names and keeps us entertained with his jokes. We had our virgin boomerang throwing, and gets to know the history of this tool/toy used by Australian aborigines. The Lamington National Park walk was rejuvenating. We climbed inside a fig tree that once the host tree had been decayed. Ross educated us with the wildlife there, he even tried to disturb a trapdoor spider's hole to show us. I can't stop looking in awe at the Australian Brush-turkey working hard with its feet on the incubation mounds (to attract mates!). The BBQ lunch provided at Spring Gully Stays was also superb. Overall, the trip to Mt Tamborine and Lamington National Park is excellent, highly recommended!

We had an enjoyable one day trip to Hinterland
Goh liang geg 2 years ago

We had an enjoyable one day trip to Hinterland. It was a great experience to explore the wonderful nature and enjoy the beautiful mountain view. The whole journey was filled with joy and laughter. The tour guide also gave clear explanation to us throughout the whole journey. It was an unforgettable experience especially during the bird feeding session and the canopy treetop walk at the Lamington national park. It's a great choice for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle city and relax yourself.

The tour conducted by Southern Cross 4WD drive is totally awesome! Our tour guide Matt is very experienced and knowledgeable. He have demonstrated professionalism in his work, where he drove us safety but still maintaining the thrill of 4WD. His knowledge on different aspects in the rain-forest (regardless of the trees, plants or animals) have widened our knowledge toward Aussie's wildlife. The lunch provided were also superb. You can choose either beef, fish, chicken or vegetarian. Free boomerang coaching was also given and we are able to try out too. Overall, the trip to Mt Tamborine and Lamington National Park is excellent. Will recommend to others too!

What an amazing day

What an amazing day! I would thoroughly recommend this tour, it is a full day of excitement with the most friendly Tour Guide Trent who is very knowledgeable and passionate about the areas we visited! A must Tour to do if visiting the Gold Coast!

Take a light jacket or some warmer clothes with you as the temperatures in the Gold Coast Hinterland can be much cooler than down on the beach.
